Camp Counselor: Cabin counselors are needed throughout the spring and fall weekends and summer to volunteer through our nearly 60 Camp Partners. Volunteers must be available for the entire duration of the camp program and will be required to go through a separate application and interview process through the specific Camp Partner as well as attend pre-camp orientation. Age minimum is 18. ***Background checks are required.***
Special Events: Volunteers are needed to staff various fundraising events throughout the year in and around the Atlanta area. Age minimum varies.
Welcome Wagon: Volunteers are needed on the first day of camp to assist with parking, unloading cars and check-in assistance. Age minimum is 12 years old. ***Background checks are required.***
TLC Days: Volunteers are needed to assist with camp cleanup days on Sunday afternoons during the fall and spring months. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adult chaperones.
Corporate Workday: Camp Twin Lakes would be happy to organize a corporate workday your company and its employees. It is a great way to support Camp Twin Lakes while gaining a positive work experience. Volunteers are needed to assist with a wide variety of campsite improvement projects weekdays during the fall and spring months. Projects may include cleaning, painting, landscaping, simple construction projects, and other beautification efforts around our campsites. We can also include team building activities into your workday to create an engaging experience for you and your staff.
CTL Farm: Join us at our Camp Twin Lakes Farm in Rutledge, GA. From May-August, we need help harvesting, washing, and packaging fruits and vegetables for our dining hall. Other needs include weeding, hoeing, and keeping the farm tidy & clean in general. Age minimum is 18. ***Background checks may be required.***
Activity Assistants:Spend the day at camp sharing your knowledge and talent in
fishing, cooking, or arts and crafts! This is a great opportunity for individuals that
would love to work with our campers but can’t commit to a full, overnight week or weekend. Program assistants must be 16 and older and will work
alongside our staff and help as side walkers at horseback, fishing, arts and crafts,
Young Atlanta Leadership League: Y'ALL provides an opportunity for young professionals to network with one another while supporting Camp Twin Lakes through many different avenues including volunteering, committee engagement, special events, happy hours and other social gatherings.
Medical: Under the supervision of the camp medical director, licensed medical volunteers help distribute medications and administer minor first aid.
